This workshops is the exploration of creative processes through movement, image, story and sound. Experiments with melody, song, text and storytelling will be encouraged through physical and vocal/instrumental exploration, extending into writing, installations, choreography, sculpture to generate performance/ exhibition material.
Using references of creations based on Viewpoints, on “circlesinging” and on the Brazilian method of rhythm O passo, this workshop will develop creative stimulus through different art languages.
- This workshop is a research developed in residency with the International Interdisciplinary Artists Consortium (2016, 2017/ USA) and at Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro, School of Music and School of Drama, in partnership with Professora Denise Telles- Hoffstra (“At the same time” Project).
- Workshop presented in the Moving Arts Lab 2017, at Earthdance (Massachussets, USA); Universidad de Antioquia, as a workshop for the Master Program in Latin American Music.
